Honey garlic chicken wings




Stove-top cooking method:
Ingredients for stove-top cooking method (serving for four):
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 5 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp ginger, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp of salt

Stove-top Preparation:
1. Combine honey, water, lemon juice, ketchup, ginger, and garlic in a bowl. Mix until honey is dissolved.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken wings until the skin turns golden.
3. Add the sauce mixture. Simmer the chicken wings for 30 minutes. Turn the wings frequently to make sure that both sides of the wings are coated with the sauce.

Baking method:
Ingredients for baking method:
- 2lb chicken wings
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp ginger, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp salt

Baking Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Combine honey, water, lemon juice, ketchup, ginger, and garlic in a bowl. Mix until honey is dissolved.
3. Place chicken on a wire rack inside a roasting pan. Add 2 cups of water in the roasting pan to avoid burns. Pour half of the sauce mixture evenly onto the chicken. Roast the wings for 20 minutes. Turn the wings and baste with the remaining sauce. Roast for another 20 minutes.
