BBQ Chicken Drumstick




Ingredients:
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup gluten-free ketchup (e.g. Heintz)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp gluten-free soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp salt

Preparation:
- Score chicken two to three slots, evenly around the drumstick.
- Marinate chicken with salt for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine ketcup, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and water. Mix the ingredients into a sauce.
- Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. When oil is warm, brown chicken on both sides. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet and bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Turn the drumsticks every 10 minutes.
