Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb pork tenderloin, sliced into 0.5cm thick pieces
- 2 tbsp corn starch (e.g. Fleishmman's)
- 1 raw egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
Preparation
- Place tenderloin in a large bowl. Rinse the meat in cold water and drain water.
- Marinate the meat with salt and black pepper. Beat egg slightly and mix it with the meat.
- Place corn starch in a flat dish. Coat tenderloin with corn starch on both sides and then put back into the bowl.
- Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Place the tenderloin flat on the frying pan. Brown one side for 2 minutes. Turn the tenderloin over to brown the other side.
- Turn heat down and close lid. Simmer meat for 10 minutes.
- The resulting pork chop is tender and nutritious.
